The Cottage
The cottage that we propose you for rent is an old farmhouse, a longhouse that once depended on the Plessis-Josso Manor. It is typical of the region's architecture with a slate roof resting on large stone walls. These dwellings protect against excessive heat in summer, and cold in winter. The cottage has been completely renovated; well equipped, it offers all the comforts of modern homes.
Located in the countryside, a stone's throw from Plessis-Josso manor, the cottage is three minutes from the N165 road which takes you to Vannes, Auray, Carnac, Quiberon to the west, or to La Roche-Bernard , Guérande, La Baule or Nantes to the east. The food shops of Theix or Surzur (bakeries, grocery store, butcher-charcutier, takeaway meals, newspapers, and supermarkets) are five minutes away by car; markets are held on Sunday mornings in Theix, and Thursday evenings in Surzur.

Who am I?
My name is Jean-Pierre, I am the owner of the cottage. I travel very often and mainly for professional reasons. When I am absent, I am assisted in the management of the gîte by Titouan. I have visited many countries over the past twenty-five years, but when it comes to vacations, I enjoy spending time in my area and entertaining my guests there. There are many things to do here, between land and sea.

The cottage is rated Four Stars by Atout France. It can accommodate up to eight travelers. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Animals are not allowed there. Smoking and parties are prohibited. If you need less space, do not hesitate to have a look at Gwennva Cottage, ideal for accommodating up to four travelers.

If you need less space, do not hesitate to have a look at Gwennva Cottage, ideal for accommodating up to four travelers. The Cottage is too located in the commune of Theix, less than five kilometers away from Kaouenneg.
Gwennva is a traditional Breton house, with a slate roof built over large stone walls. The house is located in the center of the village of Theix and close to the food shops, directly accessible on foot. It is served by a quiet, uncrowded and one-way street.

From the town of Theix-Noyalo, ideally located in the regional natural park of the Gulf of Morbihan, and well served by the main access roads, you will easily reach the beaches of the Gulf and the Atlantic, as well as the main tourist sites of Morbihan.
